My name is Henry im 58 and I've ridden motorcycles all my life. Over the years I've spent a bunch of cash on various upgrades. Many of the parts are from Kuryakyn. In this case I'm going to talk about mod.# 1483 electrical power point. This product has a rubber cap with a ring that will hold hold the cap so it doesn't get lost while you're riding. This cap and ring is clearly not going to last long despite the fact that this is a ridiculously priced 90 dollar cigarette lighter / adapter. Sure enough 1 season 6000 miles later mine broke. I see no replacement offered so I call kuryakyn. Hey sir im sorry that happened. Let me get your address and email im going to talk to the parts manager and I'll email you. Honestly I fully expected to get an email saying its in the mail at no charge. Within 5 minutes I receive an email that states we dont offer this part as a replacement item. I guess at kuryakyn the attitude is we have your money and we couldn't care less if our parts short out and cause you're ride to burn to the ground. Keep this in mind the next time you're you're purchasing parts for a project. Is this the attitude we want to support? Be safe. Henry. ✌️
